SPECIAL DUTY OFFICE

Private citizens and businesses needing assistance with various types of security issues can contact the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Special Duty Office. These assignments are filled by off duty Deputies and or Special (auxiliary) Deputies. Examples of some of these assignments include the Bremen Oil Derrick Days, Earth Angel Super Cruise-In and Car Show, the Old Car Show, the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival, the Great Buckeye Triathlon, the Fairfield County Air Show, numerous football and basketball games, graduations, and dance functions at the county high schools, various restaurants, banks and churches. Various construction companies have also requested services with traffic control and security.
