Fairfield County Jail Facility, Lieutenant Jason Hodder
This facility was built in 2017 and is a maximum level security facility. As of 2015, with a three year average, we had a daily population of 175 male prisoners and 61 female prisoners.

Detective Bureau is responsible for initiating and conducting criminal investigations into crimes of violence, such as murder, assault, and robbery, as well as property-related crimes, such as burglary and theft.

Communications Bureau is responsible for dispatching the Sheriff’s Office, 11 volunteer Township Fire Departments, and 5 village Police Departments; it receives 9-1-1 emergency calls and non-emergency calls.
